The 2022 edition of Absinthe en Fête, open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with distillery visits and talks, followed by the inauguration of a garden.
Join us on 11 June 2022 for a new edition of Absinthe en Fête!
Inspired by the “open cellars” format, the event lets you visit several distilleries of the Val-de-Travers over the course of the day, along with the Maison de l’Absinthe in Môtiers and the absinthe drying house at Boveresse.
On Saturday 11 June from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., travel the Val-de-Travers with your glass in hand and taste at our 7 partner distilleries: Absinthe Bovet La Valote, Môtiers; Absintherie Celle à Guilloud, Fleurier; Absinthe de l’Herboriste, Fleurier; Absintissimo, Couvet; Absinthe La Valote Martin, Boveresse; Absinthe Persoz, Couvet; Artemisia, Couvet; DistAB, Couvet.
On the cultural side, several other institutions are open: the absinthe drying house is open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; the Parc Girardier offers activities for children and music from the Harmonie de Môtiers.
Several restaurants are taking part: the Six Communes restaurant offers a tasting of its Môtisanne cup; the Cargo Bar summer club offers a tasting of local absinthes; the Hôtel restaurant de l’Aigle hosts a talk with Benoît Noël followed by a signing session for his new graphic novel; the Café des Mines presents absinthe-based products from its shop.
