In Fleurier, at the heart of the Val-de-Travers, Distillerie GRAND gives absinthe a home unlike any other: a restored former chapel where stone, wood, stained glass, plants and copper stills meet.
Behind the distillery is Patrick Grand, whose approach combines the heritage of the birthplace of absinthe with a distinctly personal and contemporary spirit. Each creation begins with the plants and the terroir, with wormwood and other botanicals grown at the foot of the Jura, before taking shape through small-batch artisan distillation.
Distillerie GRAND The chapel is more than a production site. It is conceived as a place of creation and transmission. Visitors can enter the world of the distiller, work with botanicals, compose a recipe, participate in distillation and leave with their own personalised bottle.
